Wayne Judd (Boater)

I began tournament fishing in 2004 with WRBM for 2 seasons then took a couple years off then Mike Botos invited me to join the Indy Bass Club in 2008. I fished 2008 and 2009 with my son Austin and since 2010 with long time friend Byron Johnson. By the end of my first season I was asked by Josh and Rick Ray to become an officer and became the 2009 Tournament Director, elected to Vice President in 2010 and President in 2011 & 2012. I Grew up being a bank beater but I’m working to become a better offshore fisherman getting the hang of Deep Cranking and throwing a Carolina Rig, my 2 biggest Bass have come on these two techniques. I have also learned a lot about fishing from many of the talented fishermen in the club. My son Austin is 14 years old, he and I fished the 2011 USA Bassin summer schedule at Lake Waveland qualifying for the 2012 USA Bassin Next Generation Classic on Kentucky Lake June 23rd & 24th. Austin and I will be fishing USA Bassin in 2012 but will check out many of the different lakes available to fish on the trail. Byron and I will fish the IBC and focus on a top 5 finish for 2012.

Byron Johnson (Non Boater)

Started with the White River Bass Club in 2004 and switched to Indy Bass Club back in 2010 and this will be my 3rd year with the club.

Would like to thank Wayne for getting me back into fishing several years ago, not only is Wayne a good fisherman but he is a better friend.  Also would like to thank Mike & Josh (Team GQ) for all the help and sharing the tube / jig techniques.  

My goals would be to win one of these tournaments and finish in the top 5 in points.
