Coming out of the Air Force with only a few years of steady fishing under my belt, I got my start tournament bass fishing in the Ball State Bass Club. I ended up spending 2 years with the team until I finished my education in 2011. It was an incredible learning experience that I am looking to expand on. Those who know me will tell you when it is nice out and the bite is on, I am on the banks of the White River all throughout Muncie hooking some smallies. Keeping it simple, I am the most confident with a Texas-rig worm.

I started fishing bass tournaments when I was 15 with the junior state programs through the TBF and Federation Nation. In my second year I finished 2nd in the state championship fish off at Glen Flint. The next year I started fishing USA Bassin tournaments at Waveland and Glen Flint. I was also a member of a TBF club and I made the top 8 tournament that year. I then came to Purdue and joined the bass club and in my first two years I finished 2nd in AOY and I am now the President of the club. The accomplishment I am most proud of is my 2010 Cordry Sweetwater Anglers Club AOY.

I have fished FLW, TBF and B.A.S.S events leading up to 2010 when I joined the Purdue University Bass Club. I am really interested in learning new techniques and ways to find fish this upcoming season.

I have fished all my life as a kid I would fish in the summer at our cottage but I really didn’t get into tournament fishing until I returned home from the Marine Corps in 2006 which is when I started fishing local open tournaments with my dad and grandpa and I have been hooked ever since. Last year I was able to start the first bass fishing club at Marian University and we are currently fishing the college FLW tournament trail. I currently do not own my own boat but I enjoy every opportunity I get to fish.
